Somethings make a real difference. Nurse Laura Roehrick’s Street Feet Project is one of them. She sets up shop in the parking lot at the Saint Vincent De Paul in Santa Rosa and grinds, clips and medicates the feet of any homeless person that shows up, no charge.
Her main goal is to prevent unnecessary amputations from diabetic complications from the lack of proper care. Her aim to reduce suffering. She is specifically trained and is an expert in foot care and teaching techniques to others.
